Signal cable BiT YnKSY 0.6/1kV – reliability and safety in every circuit

The BiT YnKSY cable is a flame-retardant signal cable designed for use in control, protection and steering circuits, as well as for powering electrical devices. Its construction with seven copper cores with a cross-section of 10 mm² provides flexibility and adequate current carrying capacity. This cable is ideal for both permanent installations and laying in the ground or cable ducts.

Construction and application

The YnKSY cable is characterized by a solid construction, designed for long-term and safe operation. Copper conductors of class 1, insulated with special PVC, are twisted in parallel to ensure better flexibility. Core numbering (including a yellow-green core) simplifies identification during installation and servicing. The outer sheath made of special flame-retardant and non-flame-propagating PVC increases safety, especially in areas with increased fire risk. Additionally, the sheath is resistant to UV radiation and oils – which expands the range of possible applications.

Operating parameters and compliance with standards

The BiT YnKSY cable is designed to operate in a wide temperature range: from -40°C to +80°C during permanent installation, and during continuous operation up to +70°C. In the event of a short circuit, the temperature of the cores can rise to +160°C without damaging the insulation. The minimum bending radius of the cable is 10x its outer diameter, which facilitates installation even in tight spaces. The operating voltage of the cable is 0.6/1kV, and the test voltage is 4000V. The cable meets the requirements of PN-EN 50575 (CPR) standard and has a RoHS 2015/863/EU certificate confirming compliance with the directive on the restriction of the use of hazardous substances. Additionally, the cable has moderate oil resistance (O2) according to EN 60811-404.
