Made of high-quality materials, the BiTLAN S/FTP cable meets the stringent standards of EN 50173-1, ISO/IEC 11801 and ANSI/TIA 568-C.2. Importantly for the safety of users and installations, the cable has a halogen-free LSOH (Low Smoke Halogen) jacket, which limits the emission of toxic gases in the event of a fire – in accordance with PN-EN 50268, IEC 61034-1(2) and PN-EN 50267, IEC 60754-2. This makes it safe in places with increased fire safety requirements, such as public buildings or data centers.

Construction and application

The BiTLAN S/FTP cable is characterized by a construction with four twisted pairs of wires (4x2x23 AWG), which ensures stable signal transmission. Shielding in the form of foil (S/FTP) minimizes the impact of external interference and crosstalk between pairs. Thanks to this, the cable performs perfectly in applications requiring a high-quality network connection – from data and audio transmission to television image. It is a universal cable that will find application both in new installations and in the modernization of existing networks. The use of conductors with a cross-section of 0.54 mm² facilitates installation and ensures good cable flexibility.
