Importantly for the safety of users and installations, the cable has a halogen-free LSOH (Low Smoke Halogen) jacket, which limits the emission of toxic gases in the event of a fire – in accordance with PN-EN 50268, IEC 61034-1(2) and PN-EN 50267, IEC 60754-2. This makes it safe in places with increased fire safety requirements, such as public buildings or data centers.

The BiTLAN S/FTP cable is characterized by a construction with four twisted pairs of wires (4x2x23 AWG), which ensures stable signal transmission. Shielding in the form of foil (S/FTP) minimizes the impact of external interference and crosstalk between pairs.
