The BiT 500®H control cable is a flexible solution for installations requiring high fire resistance. It is suitable for both control circuits and powering devices with low power consumption. Its construction and materials guarantee safety and reliability in various working conditions.

Construction and properties

The BiT 500®H cable is distinguished primarily by its halogen-free coating and insulation. This is a key solution in places where fire safety is a priority – it limits the emission of toxic gases and slows down the spread of fire. Multi-strand copper conductors of class 5 (according to PN-EN 60228) provide good flexibility and facilitate installation, even in tight spaces. Parallel twisting of the cores minimizes electromagnetic interference.

• Halogen-free: an important feature for safety in the event of a fire, minimizing the emission of toxic substances.
• Flexibility: makes it easier to route cables in complex installations and movable connections.
• Temperature resistance: the cable retains its properties over a wide temperature range – from -40°C to +80°C (fixed installation) and from -5°C to +80°C (flexible installation).
• Rated voltage: 300/500 V, making it suitable for most standard control and power applications.
• Insulation resistance: 20 MΩ x km ensures effective electrical insulation.
• Bending radius: the minimum bending radius is 5x the cable diameter for fixed installation and 10x the diameter for flexible connections, which affects installation convenience.
