Water meter for hot water, type GSD8-RFM, DN15 (1/2"), Q3=2.5 m³/h, R100/50, Tmax: 90°C, L=110 mm, connection GZ3/4", dry-running, anti-magnetic, for remote reading 8MA00C12SSCIVS
Single-jet dry-running water meter for hot water up to 90°C
The device complies with the MID Directive and is certified for measuring potable water, confirmed by a hygiene certificate. It operates at temperatures up to 90°C, making it suitable for both central heating systems and domestic hot water (DHW) installations. The male thread connection GZ 3/4" and nominal diameter DN15 (1/2") enable direct installation in standard residential networks.
The counting mechanism is driven by a reinforced four-pole magnetic coupling—eliminating slippage and breakage to ensure measurement stability during long-term use. The impeller is maintained in a hydro-magnetic balance, while a sapphire bearing reduces friction and extends the device’s service life.
The eight-drum dial rotates 360°, allowing clear reading from any angle. The meter features an additional anti-magnetic shield—a protective ring guarding against interference from external magnetic fields, which is critical when installed near electrical equipment or in high-risk eavesdropping environments.
Accuracy class R100/H (horizontal) and R50/V (vertical) guarantees precise measurement across both high and low flow rates. The nominal flow rate Q3 is 2.5 m³/h, with maximum flow Q4 at 3.125 m³/h—ideal for medium loads in residential construction. With a length of 110 mm and weight of 0.5 kg, installation and transport are simplified even in confined spaces.
The GSD8-RFM version does not include a built-in transmitter—it is the base model. An impulse transmitter (e.g., RFM-TX1.1) can be added as a wireless retrofit module; however, it is not part of the original design. The meter requires no external power—operation depends solely on water flow.
MID compliance enables legal use in billing systems. It can be installed either horizontally or vertically—the accuracy class R100-H/R50-V confirms reliable performance in both orientations.
