Outdoor hydrant – reliable water access
This above-ground outdoor hydrant, made of durable spheroidal graphite cast iron (GJS), is a solid and reliable solution for water intake in water supply and fire protection systems. Designed for both municipal and private use, it provides easy access to water in emergency situations or during maintenance work. The hydrant's construction is designed for long-term operation and resistance to weather conditions.
Construction and materials – a guarantee of durability
The hydrant body is made of high-quality spheroidal graphite cast iron (EN-GJS 500-7), which ensures pressure resistance (PN16) and corrosion resistance. The stainless steel column further increases resistance to mechanical damage and corrosion, ensuring an aesthetic appearance for a long time. The hydrant stem, also made of stainless steel, is bearing-mounted, ensuring smooth and trouble-free opening and closing. The sealing mushroom is vulcanized over the entire surface, guaranteeing tightness and minimizing the risk of leaks. All metal elements are protected against corrosion, extending the life of the device.
Functionality and safety
The hydrant has a single shut-off, meaning water can only be drawn from one nozzle at a time. This is a standard solution providing ease of use and reliable operation. A reflector placed on the column increases the visibility of the hydrant in the dark, which is particularly important in emergency situations. The ability to replace the seal after closing the shut-off valve without having to disassemble the hydrant facilitates maintenance and reduces operating costs. The rotating flange allows you to adjust the position of the hydrant to the specifics of the installation. The hydrant meets the requirements of EN 12266-1 class A and has certificates of conformity No. 5079-2023 to 09.2028 and 1438-CPR-0333 to 02.2032 confirming its quality and safety of use.
