Foot bend for water supply installations

This foot bend, made of spheroidal graphite cast iron (GJS), is designed for the construction of water supply installations, including drinking water systems, and for the transport of other chemically inert liquids. Its construction ensures a durable and reliable connection of pipes, and the material guarantees resistance to corrosion and mechanical damage.

Construction and application

The foot bend with a nominal diameter of DN100 and a pressure of PN16 is a connecting element that allows changing the flow direction in the installation. Made of spheroidal graphite cast iron (GJS), it is characterized by high strength and flexibility, which translates into long life and safety of use. The use of spheroidal graphite cast iron allows operation at higher pressure compared to traditional bends made of gray cast iron.

The bend is coated with epoxy powder paint with a thickness of at least 250µm (RAL 5005) – this provides effective protection against corrosion and external factors.
