Flanged elbow for water supply installations

This flanged elbow, made of spheroidal graphite cast iron (GJS), is designed for the construction of water supply installations, including drinking water systems, and for the transport of other chemically inert liquids. Its construction ensures a durable and reliable connection of pipeline elements.

Material and working pressure

Made of spheroidal graphite cast iron (EN-GJS 500-7 according to PN-EN 1563), the elbow is characterized by high mechanical strength and corrosion resistance. It is designed to operate at a nominal pressure of PN16, making it a suitable choice for most standard water supply installations. The connection dimensions of the flanges comply with the PN-EN 1092-2 standard, guaranteeing compatibility with other system components.

Application and installation

The Q DN150 flanged elbow is used wherever a bend in the pipeline is required. Thanks to the flanged connection, installation is simple and quick, and disassembly if necessary – easy. This is particularly important when servicing or modernizing installations. The weight of the elbow made of spheroidal graphite cast iron is 23.8 kg. An epoxy powder coating with a minimum thickness of 250 µm (RAL 5005) provides additional protection against corrosion and external factors, extending the life of the element.
