Street boxes – safe access to valves

Street boxes, such as the presented model, are a practical solution enabling convenient and safe operation of valves installed underground. They protect valves from mechanical damage, weather conditions and unauthorized access. Model W100, with a clear "W" (WATER) marking, is dedicated to use in water supply systems, providing easy access to the shut-off valve if necessary.

Construction and materials – durability and resistance

The box combines strength and lightness thanks to the use of two different materials. The body made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) is characterized by high resistance to corrosion and mechanical damage, which translates into a long service life and no maintenance. The cast iron cover (grade EN-GJL 250) provides solid protection against loads and ensures the stability of the box in the surface. The cast iron is additionally protected with bituminous paint, which increases its corrosion resistance.

Installation and application – for professionals and users

The installation of the box is relatively simple, although the use of base plates is recommended to ensure stability. The box is intended for installation in public places, such as sidewalks, squares or green areas, where easy access to water supply valves is necessary. The clear "W" marking facilitates identification of the box and minimizes the risk of errors during operation. Thanks to the light weight of the HDPE body, working with it is comfortable even in difficult field conditions.
