The FSN 1600 Professional guide rail is a system component that eliminates the need for manual marking of cut lines, ensuring perfectly straight cuts when using circular saws and plunge saws. Thanks to the precisely manufactured aluminum profile and self-centering connecting elements, multiple rail sections can be joined into a single, long guide without any "steps" or misalignment at the joints. This is crucial when processing large furniture panels or countertops, where even a minimal guiding error can ruin the material. In most cases, the rail does not require additional fastening to the surface – its bottom side is equipped with two anti-slip rubber strips that effectively keep it in place even on smooth laminated surfaces.

Work safety and clean edge quality

One of the most important features of this model is the built-in anti-splinter strip (pare-éclats), which works directly at the saw blade. It protects the material from fiber tear-out and chipping, which is particularly important for finishing work with HDF, MDF, or veneers. Additionally, the T-shaped plastic end caps protect against snagging power cables or vacuum hoses on the sharp edges of the profile. The FSN system was designed to work with a wide range of Bosch Professional tools. The rail is compatible with all GKS circular saw models (e.g., GKS 55 GCE, GKS 65 GCE, GKS 85 G) and GKT plunge saws (e.g., GKT 55 GCE). For users of GST jigsaws or GOF routers, a special adapter is available to enable their mounting on the rail. When a long cut exceeding 1600 mm is required, the rail can be connected to other sections (e.g., 800 mm or 2100 mm) using the optional FSN VEL connecting element (sold separately). This element guarantees quick assembly and perfect alignment of the rail axes.

The working length of 1600 mm makes this model optimal for cutting standard furniture panels without the need to join segments, which speeds up work on the construction site. The profile made of anodized aluminum not only ensures durability and corrosion resistance, but also guarantees smooth tool movement throughout the entire service life. The self-centering joining system eliminates the risk of error when extending the rail to any length, and the anti-splinter strip effectively prevents damage to the material edge during perpendicular cutting. Thanks to the anti-slip strips, work can be carried out without using clamps in many applications, which significantly speeds up the assembly process and increases operator comfort.

It is worth noting that the rail features a special groove for attaching clamps (e.g., model FSN SZW), which provides full control over the guide position when processing slippery or unstable materials. Thanks to this solution, installers can work faster and more confidently, and end users achieve results comparable to professional trimming stations. The entire system is based on precise profile geometry, which translates into repeatable results with every work cycle.
