The Bosch GAS 35 M AFC universal vacuum cleaner is a device designed for professionals who need reliable equipment for both wet and dry cleaning. Its key advantage is the certified M dust protection class, which means the device effectively captures medium-hazard harmful dusts, ensuring a high level of safety for the user during construction, finishing, or material processing works. The device features an Automatic Filter Cleaning (AFC) system, which operates in a cycle every 15 seconds. This mechanism allows for maintaining constant suction power throughout the entire working time, without the need to interrupt the task for manual filter cleaning. This is particularly important during prolonged sanding or cutting work, where dust accumulation could quickly reduce the vacuum cleaner's performance. This allows installers to work faster and more efficiently, and end users gain the certainty that the equipment will not lose power at a critical moment.

The motor with a rated power of 1200 W (maximum turbine power 1380 W) generates an impressive vacuum of 254 mbar and an air flow of 74 l/s. Such parameters allow the vacuum cleaner to easily handle heavier construction waste, wood chips, or even liquids. The container capacity is 35 liters (net volume for liquids is 19.2 l), allowing for the collection of a larger amount of material before the device needs to be emptied.

It is worth noting the design of the container and its compatibility with the L-BOXX transport system. The vacuum cleaner has a special handle that allows for mounting a tool case directly on top of the device. This solution significantly facilitates mobile work – tools and the vacuum cleaner can be moved as a single set, which is invaluable when working at different stages of construction or in a workshop. Additionally, the 35 mm diameter antistatic suction hose prevents the buildup of electrostatic charges and leaves no marks on carpeted floors or lacquered surfaces.

Equipment and functions facilitating assembly and operation

The set supplied with the vacuum cleaner contains everything necessary to start working:

• Suction hose 5 meters long with a tool adapter – allows for connecting power tools and their automatic activation along with the vacuum cleaner.
• Floor nozzle set and a crevice nozzle for grout – enable precise cleaning of hard-to-reach places and large flat surfaces.
• Three chrome suction tubes and an elbow connector – provide adequate flexibility when guiding the hose.
• Flat pleated filter (PES) and a dust bag – the large surface area filter (6150 cm²) increases filtration efficiency and the device's lifespan.

The device also features a continuous suction power adjustment function, allowing the power to be adjusted to the type of surface or material being cleaned – from delicate dust vacuuming to intensive removal of metal chips. The air flow control system signals with a sound if the air flow drops below the minimum threshold (e.g., due to a clogged hose), protecting the motor from overheating. The protection against container overflow with liquids automatically switches off the device after reaching the maximum liquid level, eliminating the risk of motor damage by water. Thanks to its compact dimensions (width 450 mm) and weight of approximately 12.4 kg, the device is relatively light for its performance class and easy to carry even up stairs or between rooms.
