Three-phase fan motor speed controller A3RM 4.0/1 is designed for use in industrial ventilation and heating systems. The device enables five-stage regulation, which translates to precise adjustment of system performance to current needs. The autotransformer design allows for realizing the output voltage through successive taps, routed to the electrical connection.

Features and application

This model, with an output current of 4.0A, is intended for use with motors powered by 3x400V (50/60Hz). Regulation is carried out using five stages of output voltage: 400V, 280V, 230V, 180V and 130V. The open construction facilitates mounting in existing installations. Execution in class I insulation and compliance with EN61558-2-13 standard guarantee safety and reliability of operation.

Construction and parameters

The A3RM autotransformer is characterized by a solid construction and compact dimensions – width 120 mm, height 100 mm and depth 143 mm. It is made of materials ensuring durability and resistance to industrial conditions. Insulation class B (130°C) and maximum ambient temperature of 40°C allow operation in demanding environments. The lack of backlight does not affect the functionality of the device in typical applications. The device does not have a function of smooth power regulation or a switching contact. The degree of protection IP00 means no protection against the ingress of solid objects and water – therefore, installation in dry and well-ventilated places is recommended.
