Construction and properties

The FLEXSTAR DUO system is distinguished by a composite construction in which the PEX-a pipe with an EVOH anti-diffusion barrier is permanently connected to the PUR insulation and the LLDPE protective jacket. This construction guarantees longitudinal watertightness and minimizes the risk of moisture penetration inside the pipe, which translates into a longer service life of the installation. The thermal conductivity coefficient at 0.266 W/(m.K) provides effective thermal insulation, and the resistance to working pressure up to 6 bar (at 90°C) guarantees safe operation. The pipe is also characterized by high flexibility and a small bending radius (0.35m), which makes installation easier even in tight spaces – no additional elbows are needed.
