The SEH4 /47-23/ heat shrink sleeve is a reliable solution for sealing multi-core cables and wires, providing effective protection against moisture and corrosion. Features and application
The SEH4 sleeve is used to seal 4-core cables between the outer jacket and the insulation of the working conductors. It can be used with YKY (YKXS) and YAKY (YAKXS) cables. Thanks to the use of hot-melt adhesive, the sleeve creates a hermetic connection, protecting against the penetration of water and contaminants. This is particularly important in places exposed to moisture or aggressive environments. Using the sleeve increases the safety and reliability of the electrical installation, minimizing the risk of failure due to corrosion or dampness.
Operating parameters and construction
Made of cross-linked polyolefin, the sleeve is characterized by high flexibility and resistance to mechanical damage. Before shrinking, it has an inner diameter of 20 mm and a body diameter of 47 mm, and after shrinking, its inner diameter is 7 mm and the body diameter is 23 mm. The total length after shrinking is 134 mm. The operating temperature range is from -40°C to +100°C, allowing it to be used in a wide range of weather conditions. The sleeve complies with IEC 60684-2, confirming its high quality and safety of use. The elongation at break is 300%, and the tensile strength is 13 MPa - these parameters testify to the solid workmanship and resistance to loads. Longitudinal shrinkage does not exceed 10%.
