Universal expansion anchor for hard building materials
The FX 12x60 anchor with flange is a solution designed for installers who require solid, reliable fastening in concrete, brick, stone, or aerated concrete. Its four-sided expansion acts as a locking mechanism – when the screw is tightened, the anchor expands evenly in four directions, creating a durable grip within the hole. This is not just a "standard anchor" – its design ensures high pull-out values, especially when used with large-diameter screws.
The flange at the top prevents the anchor from sinking into the hole during installation – significantly facilitating work and eliminating the risk of the anchor becoming "flushed" while tightening the screw. Anti-rotation protrusions on the sides prevent rotation within the hole, even under high torsional loads. This is crucial for mounting heavy elements – from shelves to sanitary and heating equipment.
Manufactured from high-quality, halogen-free, aging-resistant nylon, the anchor maintains flexibility and strength for years. It does not become brittle under UV exposure or extreme temperatures – it operates safely from -40°C to +80°C. This means it can be used both indoors and outdoors: on facades, in boiler rooms, on roofs, or in industrial halls.
It can be used with various screw types: from standard wood screws to self-tapping screws for chipboard or metal. There is no need to purchase different anchors for different screws – this single product fulfills all roles. The load capacity at full anchoring depth with a 10 mm screw exceeds 1.9 kN in C20/25 concrete – making it one of the strongest solutions in its class.
No special tools or additional components are required. Drill with a standard 12 mm drill bit, then simply insert the anchor and tighten the screw. No need for adhesives or other additives – speed and simplicity are the priorities.
Compliant with the European Technical Approval (ETA) for both cracked and uncracked concrete – confirming its suitability for static and seismic loads. It contains no halogens – which is significant for meeting LEED requirements or other environmental standards.
