Screw for thermal insulation, 80 mm diameter, 8 mm zinc die‑cast, for drilling through sheets up to 0.5 mm thick. Quantity per package: 50 pcs. 980IPSZ
Quick installation without pre‑drilling
IPSZ 80 screw does not require prior drilling of holes in plaster, insulation or sheets. The sharp drilling tip allows direct screwing – just place and turn. This eliminates several installation steps, especially when working on insulated façades where time matters.
No thermal bridges and integrated seal
Pressure‑cast zinc casting with integrated EPDM ring provides full water‑tightness of the mounting point. The seal does not require additional sealing – it conforms to the surface during screwing and permanently closes the through hole. As a result there is no moisture ingress or heat loss, and the thermal efficiency of the insulation remains unchanged.
Universal application – from sheet metal to aerated concrete
It can be used to mount connecting profiles, baseboard strips, signs or lighting on façades with insulation thickness from 80 mm. The penetrating tip also works in AAC2 aerated concrete and allows drilling through sheets up to 0.5 mm thick. Ideal for through holes with diameter 8 mm – fits most ETICS systems.
Long durability and resistance to external conditions
Material – die‑cast zinc – is corrosion‑resistant, and the EPDM seal does not age under UV, rain or extreme temperatures. No need to worry about degradation of the mounting point after years – the construction is designed for outdoor use without maintenance.
Possibility of additional fastening
The screw head has a Ø 3.5 mm hole – allows light clamping or additional attachment of elements (e.g., cables, guides) with a smaller screw, without the need to drill a new point.
