Termination of 12 mm copper installation circuits

This component is designed for the permanent and leak-tight sealing of pipe ends in installation systems, eliminating the need for additional soldering or welding. Thanks to the pressing technology, installation is quick and does not require open flame, which is crucial for works inside finished buildings or in areas with limited access. This component is intended exclusively for pipes with an outer diameter of 12 mm, ensuring precise fit with standard sections of water, heating, or gas installations.

Material and construction ensuring durability

The key aspect of this cap is the material from which it is made – copper of grade Cu-DHP (CW024A). This is a high-purity alloy (99.99%), phosphorus-deoxidized, which significantly improves its corrosion resistance and facilitates the soldering process in case of later system modifications. The connection surface remains in a raw state, which is standard for this type of pressed fitting and requires no additional treatment before installation.

Inside the component, there is a seal made of ethylene-propylene-diene monomer rubber (EPDM). This material is characterized by high resistance to aging and stability over a wide temperature range, guaranteeing the leak-tightness of the connection throughout years of operation. The pressing profile marked with the symbol V is compatible with most pressing heads available on the market, facilitating the installer's work and eliminating the risk of errors when selecting the tool.

Application and operating conditions

This component is suitable for pressure installations where the maximum working pressure does not exceed 16 bar at 20°C. This is a typical solution for domestic and industrial systems:

• Water installations: cold and hot domestic water.
• Heating systems: central heating circuits.
• Industry: short pipeline sections requiring quick sealing or leak testing.

It is worth noting that this product does not have a drain valve or air vent – its function is limited exclusively to the permanent sealing of the pipe end. The lack of certifications such as FM or LPCB means it is used in standard building installations, not in specific fire-fighting systems requiring additional approvals. Production takes place in Spain and Poland, ensuring the availability of raw materials compliant with European standards (PN EN 1254).
