Crimping coupling for press-fitting, made of galvanized carbon steel
This is a one-piece press-fitted connection designed for installing piping systems with copper pipes of 15 mm outer diameter. Both sides of the coupling are identical – both feature a crimping structure, allowing for a symmetrical connection of two pipes without the need to distinguish between inlet and outlet.
Each side is equipped with a stop flange that ensures stability during pressing and reduces the risk of pipe slippage. Electrolytic galvanization on both ends protects against corrosion – particularly important for installations in humid or aggressive environments, such as technical rooms or underfloor installations.
It does not contain seals – the connection is achieved solely through plastic deformation of the pipe wall under pressure. This means there are no flexible components subject to wear or replacement.
The maximum working pressure is 16 bar at 20°C – sufficient for most heating and water supply installations, both in single-family homes and commercial buildings. The coupling length is 50 mm, providing adequate space for even distribution of the pressing force.
The product weight is 36 g, and dimensions (48 x 21 x 23 mm) allow installation even in confined spaces. The construction is simple – no valves, air vents, or reducers. It is a pure "pipe-to-pipe" connection without unnecessary additions.
UL, FM, ULC, and LPCB certificates are not assigned to this product.
Installation requires a specialized pressing tool – it is not suitable for threading or soldering. When using the tool correctly and inserting the pipe to the proper depth, the connection is durable and leak-tight from day one.
