This component is designed for the permanent and leak-tight sealing of pipe ends in water, heating, or gas installations. Unlike traditional threaded solutions, the use of pressing technology eliminates the risk of leaks caused by under-tightening or seal aging over time. Material and Resistance to Operating Conditions

The key to the reliability of this cap lies in the raw material from which it is made. The body is manufactured from copper grade Cu-DHP (CW024A), characterized by high purity (99.99%) and phosphorus deoxidation. This material selection ensures excellent corrosion resistance and long-term durability. The connection surface remains in its raw state, which is standard for this type of copper fitting and requires no additional treatment prior to installation.

Inside the component is a seal made of ethylene-propylene-diene monomer rubber (EPDM). This material is proven in sanitary installations, resistant to high temperatures and potable water. It ensures a leak-tight connection even under pressure and temperature fluctuations within the system. The maximum working pressure for this cap is 16 bar at 20°C, meeting the requirements of most standard domestic and industrial installations.

Application and System Compatibility

This component belongs to the B Press series and features a joining profile designated by the symbol V. This means it is compatible with pressing heads dedicated to this system (e.g., CONEX Bänninger brand). It does not include a drain valve or air vent—its function is limited solely to the permanent closure of the pipeline.

Installation requires the use of an appropriate pressing head matched to the V profile. Once properly pressed, the connection becomes permanent and requires no maintenance throughout the entire service life of the installation. This solution is ideal where installation speed and guaranteed leak-tightness are critical, without the need for regular mechanical inspections of threaded joints. Please note that this product is made from Cu-DHP copper with 99.99% purity according to standard PN EN 1254, and the EPDM seal ensures durability across a wide range of operating conditions at a working pressure of up to 16 bar for 18 mm diameter pipes.
