Bypass connector for press-fit systems
Connector made of electrolytically galvanized carbon steel, designed for press-fit connections with a diameter of 22 mm. Both ends are identical – both are push-fit ends, allowing flexible installation in either direction without the need to distinguish between inlet and outlet. The construction is one-piece and eccentric – there are no internal obstructions, and fluid flow occurs freely without disturbances.
It does not contain polymer seals – there is no EPDM or other elastomers. Instead, the connection with the pipe relies solely on metal-to-metal contact, while galvanization provides corrosion resistance in humid conditions. The surface treatment of both ends is in the raw state – there is no additional coating beyond the electro-galvanized layer, which is the sole form of protection.
Operating pressure up to 10 bar at 20°C – sufficient for most heating and cooling systems in residential and commercial buildings.
Installation requires only a pressing tool – no screws, welding, or threading. There is no "leak before press" function – no special seal indicating an improper joint before pressing. This means: after installation, a pressure test must be performed as with any other press-fit joint.
UL, FM, ULC, and LPCB certificates are not assigned to this product.
Application: heating, cooling, cold and hot water systems – where pipes are made of carbon steel and installed using the press-fit method. Not suitable for gases or steam. It contains no valves, air vents, or caps – it is a pure connecting component.
Length: 150 mm – sufficient for free maneuvering of the tool during pressing.
