90° Elbow with Press-Fit Sleeve and BSPT Thread

Elbow made of electrogalvanized carbon steel, designed for press-fit connections on one side and threaded on the other. The compression sleeve (42 mm Ø) allows installation on pressed pipes, while the external BSPT-R thread (1 1/2 inch) enables direct connection to fittings, valves, or other components with tapered thread – without the need for additional adapters.

The fitting has a fixed 90° angle and a length of 89 mm, making it ideal for spatial constraints in the installation of district heating, gas, or water supply systems. It includes a stop collar – this ensures stability during pressing and reduces the risk of pipe displacement under pressure.

Galvanizing of both ends (sleeve and thread) protects against corrosion, even in humid or aggressive environments. The sleeve surface is raw – it has no additional coating, which facilitates the pressing process and guarantees a leak-tight connection. The thread is galvanized and ready for installation without further processing.

It does not contain gaskets – tightness is achieved through the mechanical pressing of the pipe into the sleeve and via the tapered thread. It also has no air vents or drain valves – it is a purely connecting element.

It operates safely at a maximum pressure of 16 bar at 20°C – sufficient for most commercial and industrial installations. It is a one-piece component – no welds or joined parts, which means a lower risk of leaks and easier installation.

It does not have UL, FM, ULC, or LPCB certificates – it is not intended for systems requiring these specifications (e.g., American fire protection systems). However, it is suitable for installations complying with European standards EN 10226-1 (thread) and standards used in pressed systems.
