This two-piece 90° bend from the B Press Gas series is a reliable solution for creating safe and durable connections in gas installations. Construction and materials
The bend is made of Cu-DHP (CW024A) copper with a purity of 99.99%, deoxidized with phosphorus, ensuring high strength and corrosion resistance. The use of copper guarantees compatibility with other installation elements made of the same material. Additionally, the connection is sealed with an HNBR O-ring with a PI (Press Indicator) system, which visually confirms the correct crimping of the connection – an uncompressed ring indicates a leak. This simple but effective solution minimizes the risk of errors during installation.
Application and advantages
This 90° bend is used in installations for natural gas, LPG and compressed air. It is designed for pipes with an outer diameter of 28 mm and has socket connections. Thanks to the use of press-fit technology, the connection is non-detachable, resistant to tensile and torsional forces and extremely durable. The >B< Press Gas system is also characterized by the lack of need to use additional materials during connection (e.g. solder), which translates into saving time and installation costs. These fittings have a technical approval AT/2016-03-06 and a Certificate of Conformity issued by the Oil and Gas Institute in Krakow, confirming their high quality and safety of use.
