Elbow for gas and other installations

This elbow is made of bronze and designed to create 90° connections in gas installations, but also in compressed air installations. Made of high-quality bronze CuSn5Zn5Pb2-C (CC499K-DW) according to PN EN 1982, it provides corrosion resistance and long-term reliability. The elbow is compatible with the B Press Gas pressing system, which significantly speeds up and simplifies installation.

Design and application

The elbow has a socket compression connection with an outer diameter of 18 mm and a cylindrical BSPP-G internal gas thread with a diameter of 1/2 inch. This combination allows connecting pipes of different diameters and materials, ensuring a tight and safe installation. It uses a yellow HNBR elastomer with a PI (Press Indicator) system, which visually confirms the correct pressing of the connection – an uncompressed O-ring indicates a leak. The threads meet the requirements of PN - EN 10226-1 (ISO 7-1) and PN - EN ISO 228-1.
