Double-bell 90° elbow 18 mm - thin-walled galvanized carbon steel, crimped PC5002 0180000

90° Double Bell Crimp Elbow – Galvanized Steel, 18 mm

This elbow is made of carbon steel, electrolytically galvanized on both sides, and designed for crimped connections with a diameter of 18 mm. Both sleeves are identical – both function as crimping ends, simplifying installation and eliminating the need to distinguish between inlet and outlet. The elbow angle is precisely 90°, and the overall length is 46 mm – a compact form that saves space in tight areas.

Blind end? No. With drain valve? No. With air vent? No. This is a simple, one-piece component – no additional features that could fail. It has only what is necessary: a solid connection and pressure resistance.

The internal seal made of EPDM (ethylene-propylene-diene) ensures tightness even under cyclic temperature changes. It operates safely within the range of -35°C to +110°C – wide enough to handle both underfloor heating and water cooling in HVAC systems.

Working pressure up to 16 bar at 20°C – this is not a theoretical limit. It is a verified and tested value for this specific fitting. There are no UL, FM, or ULC certifications – but there is also no need for them in most residential and commercial installations in Europe. This is a component of a crimping system, not a standalone safety device.

The galvanization is thin-walled – but thick enough to protect the steel from corrosion in dry and moderately humid environments. It is not present on the inner surface (which remains in raw condition), as there is no need – the contact surface with the pipe is clean and does not affect the quality of the crimped connection.

No stop collar? Yes, there is one. And it is very important: this collar prevents pipe movement during crimping – it holds the pipe in position, reducing the risk of installation errors. This is a minor feature, but the same one that allows the installer to hold the pipe with one hand while pressing the tool with the other.

This is not "high quality." This is alloy steel + EPDM + galvanization + stop collar + 16 bar. Nothing more, nothing less.
