90° Double Bell Elbow 42 mm - Thin-Walled Galvanized Carbon Steel, Press-Fitted PC5002 0420000
90° Double-Socket Elbow for Press-Fit Systems
This elbow is manufactured from alloyed carbon steel and electrolytically galvanized, designed for press-fit connections with an outer diameter of 42 mm. Both ends feature clamping sleeves with a stop flange, enabling a stable and leak-tight connection without additional gaskets. The elbow angle is precisely 90°, and the length between clamping planes is 89 mm – a compact design that saves space during installation in tight areas.
Electro-galvanizing protects the surface against corrosion, which is crucial in hydraulic and heating installations where moisture or condensation may occur on the pipe exterior. The absence of gaskets means that leak-tightness depends solely on the quality of the pressing operation – therefore, installation requires appropriate tools and technique. There are no air vents or drain valves; this is a purely flow-through component.
The maximum working pressure at 20°C is 16 bar – sufficient for most district heating and water supply systems in residential and commercial construction. The connection material is alloyed steel, providing good mechanical strength, but it is not intended for use in aggressive chemical environments.
Installation is simple: press both ends onto pipes with a 42 mm diameter – no tightening, no gluing, and no additional gaskets required. This accelerates the installer's work and eliminates errors related to improper gasket fitting. In practice: if you already have a 42 mm pressing tool set, this elbow integrates into the system like a Lego brick.
There are no FM, UL, or ULC certifications – it is not intended for systems requiring international fire certifications. However, it is a typical component for local installations in Poland and Central Europe, where PN-EN standards prevail.
