Galvanized Steel Gas System Compression Fitting

This one-piece crimped coupling connects a 22 mm steel pipe with a 3/4 inch BSPT-Rc internal thread. It is manufactured from low-alloy carbon steel, electrolytically galvanized on both the crimping surface and the threaded section. The anti-rotation collar ensures stability during installation and prevents rotation when crimping.

It does not include seals – this means there are no additional flexible elements inside. However, in the B Press Gas system, which this fitting supports, separate EPDM (ethylene-propylene-diene) seals are used and installed on the pipe prior to crimping. This is critical: the seal is not part of the fitting itself but is essential for proper joint performance.

Crimping is performed using a mechanical hexagonal tool – once crimped, the joint cannot be rotated, ensuring durability and safety. The system operates at temperatures from -35°C to 110°C and withstands pressures up to 16 bar at 20°C, making it suitable for gas installations, heating systems, and solar applications.

It is not approved for use in potable water installations. It does not carry UL, FM, ULC, or LPCB certifications and is not intended for markets requiring these standards.
