Reducing tee for copper installations
This reducing tee, made of copper, is used to connect pipes of different diameters in copper installations. It allows connection of pipes with diameters of 1 1/8 inch, 1 1/8 inch and 3/4 inch. It is an essential element when building or modifying an installation where connecting elements of different diameters is required.
Construction and application
The tee has three connections finished with sockets for soldering, which ensures a tight and durable connection. Made of copper alloy with iron (CuFe2P – Wieland K65), it is characterized by high strength and corrosion resistance. This material allows operation in a wide range of temperatures – from -196°C to 150°C and pressures up to 130 bar. Thanks to this, the tee works perfectly in demanding operating conditions, typical for air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
Advantages and benefits
- Versatility: Possibility of connecting pipes of different diameters (1 1/8", 1 1/8" and 3/4").
- Durability: Made of K65 copper alloy ensures high resistance to mechanical damage and corrosion.
- Wide range of applications: Ideal for air conditioning, refrigeration and other installations requiring a reliable connection of copper pipes.
- Safety: Possibility of working at high pressures (up to 130 bar) and temperatures (from -196°C to 150°C).
- Connection durability: Soldering sockets guarantee tightness and long-term reliability of the connection.
