Reducing tee for copper installations
This reducing tee, made of copper, connects pipes of different diameters in air conditioning and refrigeration installations. It allows connection of pipes with diameters of 1 1/8 inch, 1 1/8 inch and 7/8 inch, ensuring a tight and reliable connection. It is designed for brazing, which guarantees a durable and safe connection in the system.
Material and application
The tee is made of high-quality copper (CuFe2P alloy – Wieland K65), characterized by high strength. This material is widely used in demanding technical applications such as electrical engineering, pneumatics and automotive. This makes the tee corrosion resistant and ensures long-term operation. Designed for hard brazing, which ensures a tight and durable connection.
Construction and parameters
The construction of the tee allows for reducing the diameter of the pipes at one connection point. All three ports are finished with sockets for brazing, which facilitates installation and ensures a secure connection with copper pipes. It can be used in systems operating under pressure up to 130 bar and in a wide temperature range – from -196°C to +150°C. The use of K65 copper alloy ensures compatibility with copper pipes manufactured in accordance with PN-EN 12735-1 standard.
- Made of durable K65 copper alloy (CuFe2P).
- Designed for hard brazing using solders containing at least 2% silver to ensure tightness.
- Allows connection of pipes with different diameters: 1 1/8 inch, 1 1/8 inch and 7/8 inch.
- Resistant to high pressures (up to 130 bar) and extreme temperatures (-196°C to +150°C).
- Provides a durable and reliable connection in air conditioning and refrigeration installations.
