Reducing tee for gas installations – a reliable element of the >B< Press Gas system >/br>

This reducing tee, made of copper, is a key element of the >B< Press Gas press-fit connection system. It is used to connect pipes of different diameters in gas installations, ensuring a safe and durable connection. Its design allows for effective distribution of the medium flow within the installation.

Construction and materials – a guarantee of durability

The tee is made of high-quality Cu-DHP copper (CW024A according to PN-EN 12499) with a purity of 99.99%, deoxidized with phosphorus. This ensures corrosion resistance and long-term reliability. The use of a clamping sleeve (profile B) enables quick and secure installation using a dedicated crimping tool. The seal is based on a special HNBR o-ring with a PI (Press Indicator) system, which visually confirms the correct crimping of the connection – a leaky connection is easily detectable during pressure tests.

Application and compliance with standards

The 28 x 15 x 28 CU B Press Gas reducing tee is intended for use in installations:

• natural gas,
• LPG (liquefied gas),
• compressed air.

It meets the requirements of the following standards:

• PN-C 04750 (gas installations),
• PN-EN 1254 (fittings made of copper and bronze),
• PN-EN 1982 (bronze CuSn5Zn5Pb2-C).

Thanks to this, you can be sure that the installation meets all safety requirements. The possibility of using it with copper pipes compliant with PN-EN 1057 further increases the flexibility of the system. This tee is suitable for operation at temperatures from -20°C to +60°C and at a working pressure of up to 5 bar.
