Reducing Coupling 22x18 – Galvanized Steel, Press-Fit
Single-piece reducing coupling made of carbon steel, electrolytically galvanized – designed for press-fit connections in water supply and heating installations. It features one compression socket connection (22 mm) and one push-fit end (18 mm), enabling smooth connection of pipes with different diameters without the need for additional components.
The stop collar ensures stability during pressing while minimizing the risk of pipe displacement. Both ends are galvanized – including both the compression and push-fit surfaces – enhancing corrosion resistance and facilitating installation in humid conditions. It contains no gaskets or air vents, requiring no additional preparation before installation.
With a length of 61 mm, it is compact yet sufficiently long to allow precise alignment and pressing using standard tools. The maximum working pressure of 16 bar at 20°C meets the requirements of typical water and heating systems in residential and commercial buildings.
It does not carry UL, FM, ULC, or LPCB certifications and is not intended for applications requiring these specifications (e.g., American standards). However, it is manufactured from the same alloyed steel as other components in the CONEX B PRESS series, ensuring material consistency when installed with other elements of this system.
Weighing 46 g and measuring 57×24×24 mm, it is easy to transport and store. Installation requires no welding or threading – only the appropriate pressing tool. Ideal for system retrofits where pipe diameter reduction is needed without replacing the entire pipe section.
