Reducing Coupling 28x22 – Galvanized Steel, Crimped

Designed for connections in gas and heating installations, this one-piece reducing coupling joins pipes with outer diameters of 28 mm and 22 mm. Its construction enables assembly without welding – one side is a crimping sleeve, the other a push-in end – facilitating the installer's work in hard-to-reach locations.

Both sides are made of alloy carbon steel and electrolytically galvanized, ensuring corrosion resistance in humid conditions. The stop flange on the crimping sleeve side increases connection stability during crimping and reduces the risk of pipe slippage. The surfaces are not covered with seals – tightness is guaranteed by the deformative shaping of the metal during crimping.

A working pressure of up to 16 bar at 20°C makes it suitable for gas systems and low-pressure heating circuits. It contains no flexible elements (e.g., EPDM seals), eliminating the risk of material aging or loss of tightness during long-term use.

It does not carry UL, FM, or ULC certifications – it is intended for the European market and complies with local installation standards. The product weighs 70 g and has a length of 61 mm – its compact form facilitates transport and storage.

Installation requires a specialized crimping tool. It is not suitable for manual or threaded assembly. All contact surfaces are raw – there are no additional coatings or paints that could interfere with the crimping process.
