Reducing Tee 108x54x108 mm - thin-walled galvanized carbon steel, swaged PC5130 10854108
Reducing tee made of galvanized carbon steel
The fitting is made of thin-walled steel profile, electrolytically galvanized — without additional coating, without paint, without plastic inserts. The entire assembly is a crimped construction designed for water and heating systems where durability and corrosion resistance are required.
All three arms feature compression sleeves — there are no threads and no gaskets to tighten. Installation is performed exclusively by crimping, eliminating the risk of leaks caused by improper tightening. Dimensions: 108 mm – 54 mm – 108 mm. The outer arms have the same diameter, while the middle one is smaller — ideal for branches where one outlet requires a smaller cross-section.
Electrolytic galvanizing provides protection against rust in humid conditions — this is not a "hot-dip galvanized" zinc coating, but a thin electrolytic layer sufficient for internal installations. The material is alloy steel — not stainless steel, not copper — but plain carbon steel with appropriate surface treatment.
There are no additional functions here: no filter, no valve, no backflow prevention. It is a simple branch element — like a tee in water networks from the 90s, but better protected and ready for crimping.
Installation requires a suitable crimping tool and a pipe of the correct diameter. It is not suitable for aluminum-clad steel or copper pipes — only for carbon steel pipes of the same profile. Note: if the pipe is not clean or has bulges, crimping may fail.
In practice: used where two 108 mm pipes need to be connected to a single 54 mm outlet — e.g., a branch to a boiler or radiator in a low-temperature system.
