Reducing Tee for Press-Fit Systems

This tee is made of alloyed carbon steel, electrolytically galvanized, and designed for press-fit connections in water supply, heating, and HVAC installations. It features three compression sleeves – two with a diameter of 22 mm and one with a diameter of 18 mm – allowing for a change in pipe diameter within a single component, without the need for additional adapters.

Each sleeve is protected by an electro-galvanized surface coating, enhancing corrosion resistance in humid conditions while eliminating the need for any additional pre-installation treatment. The connection surfaces are raw – free from applied paint layers or polymer coatings that could interfere with the pressing process.

The closed design with a stop flange ensures stability during installation and maintains proper pipe alignment during crimping. It contains no internal seal; tightness is achieved solely through deformation of the pipe wall during pressing, which is standard for press-type systems.

A working pressure of up to 16 bar at 20°C makes it suitable for both low-pressure systems (e.g., underfloor heating) and higher-pressure applications (e.g., water supply networks). The material – alloyed steel – guarantees rigidity and resistance to mechanical loads, while galvanization protects against rust even during long-term use.

There is no defined flow direction – it can be installed in any orientation. It does not include valves, air vents, or any additional functions. This is a simple, robust connecting element – without unnecessary complications.

All connections are compatible with steel pipes having outer diameters of 22 mm and 18 mm. It is used where flow needs to be split between three directions of different diameters – for example, when connecting a smaller-diameter radiator to the main loop.
