Reducing Tee with Galvanized Carbon Steel
Press-fit fitting made from thin-walled steel profile, designed for hydraulic systems with pipes of 35 mm and 15 mm diameters. Three crimping sleeves – two of 35 mm and one of 15 mm – allow flow branching without the need for additional components. All connections are electrolytically galvanized, ensuring corrosion resistance in humid conditions or with limited exposure to atmospheric factors.
Each sleeve features a stop flange – meaning no additional securing is required to prevent pipe movement during pressing. Installation is simple: the pipe is inserted into the sleeve and crimped with a special tool, without the need for welding, threading, or gaskets. The internal surface is not machined – it remains in its raw state, guaranteeing natural adhesion to the crimpable material.
Maximum working pressure is 16 bar at 20°C – sufficient for most heating, water supply, or air conditioning installations. The material is alloy steel, not brass or copper – thus eliminating the risk of galvanic reaction when connected to other metals, provided the installation is properly designed.
There are no gaskets or air vents – this is a purely mechanical component. It requires no maintenance or additional protective measures after installation. Simply crimp correctly and check for tightness.
For the Installer: Simplicity and Reliability
- No need to worry about gaskets – their absence means fewer failure points.
- The stop flange eliminates the risk of pipe “slippage” during pressing – especially with larger diameters.
- Assessing installation quality is easy: simply inspect the crimp shape.
- The same crimping tool can be used as for other components in this series – no need to change the tool set.
- There are no restrictions regarding flow direction – the tee functions identically in both directions.
For the End User: No Surprises
After installation, there are no “leaks after a few months.” There are no plastic components that could age or crack. There is no need to replace this component for years – if correctly installed, it performs exactly as on the day of installation. This is a solution for those who want a durable system, without “magic” solutions.
