Reducing tee 54x22x54 mm - thin-walled galvanized carbon steel press-fit PC5130 0542254

Application and Installation Characteristics

This component is a steel reducing tee designed for press-fit installation systems. Its construction enables the connection of three pipe sections with different diameters: two main branches with a diameter of 54 mm and one side branch with a diameter of 22 mm. This solution allows the installer to smoothly transition from a larger to a smaller pipe at a single point, which is crucial when branching heating or cooling circuits. The entire assembly is made of carbon steel that has undergone electro-galvanizing. The zinc layer not only protects against corrosion but also provides an aesthetic appearance, which is important in visible industrial or technical installations.

Installation is based on the "Press" technology, eliminating the need for welding or threading. In practice, this means work proceeds quickly and without the use of open flame, significantly increasing safety on the construction site. The tightness of the joint is ensured by EPDM rubber seals, which are resistant to high temperatures and environmental conditions. The "M"-type crimping system guarantees a permanently closed circuit, and a special signaling ring indicates the correctness of the joint assembly – if the connection has not been properly pressed, the system will detect it.

Operating Conditions and Resistance

This component is designed for operation in closed pressure systems, such as heating or cooling systems. The maximum working pressure is 16 bar at a temperature of 20°C, allowing safe operation in most standard distribution networks. The permissible operating temperature range is wide, covering the interval from -35°C to 135°C. This flexibility ensures that the fitting will perform well both in domestic hot water heating installations and in industrial cooling systems.

The material of construction – alloy steel – ensures high mechanical strength and resistance to damage during transport or installation. Unlike plastic solutions, this component does not deform under sudden temperature changes and does not pose a fire risk (fire class A). The absence of the need for additional external seals or stop flanges simplifies installation logistics – only a pressing tool and appropriate heads compatible with diameters 54 mm and 22 mm are required.

Key Construction Features

This tee is characterized by precise manufacturing from carbon steel with an electro-galvanized coating on all three socket connections. All three ends feature the same type of press-fit socket connection, requiring the use of appropriate pressing heads for each of the three diameters (54 mm and 22 mm). The absence of additional elements such as stop flanges or drain valves makes this a purely distribution component, serving exclusively to change the flow direction or reduce the pipe diameter in a pressure system.

Thanks to the use of EPDM rubber seals and a solid steel construction, the product ensures permanent tightness even under large temperature and pressure fluctuations. Precise surface treatment allows for installation without the need for additional anti-corrosion treatment after mounting. This solution is ideal where rapid work execution and long-term durability of the installation over many years of operation in demanding technical conditions are essential.
