Conex STANDARD 22 clamping ring G--1020065--
Compression ring for non-reducing connections
The STANDARD 22 CONEx compression ring is an element used to create durable and tight screwed connections in copper, steel and plastic installations. Made of high-quality brass, it ensures reliability and long-term operation. It is a key component of the Conex system, known for its precision and compliance with applicable standards.
Design and application
This compression ring, in combination with a dedicated Conex nut, enables effective sealing of the pipe connection. The unique design of the nut with protrusions ensures a firm clamping of the ring on the pipe, guaranteeing tightness even under varying operating conditions. It can be used in a wide range of applications, including:
- water installations – both hot and cold water;
- central heating systems;
- air conditioning installations;
- oil installations;
- compressed air networks.
Thanks to the possibility of multiple uses (after replacing the ring), this solution is economical and practical for both installers and end users.
Materials and compliance with standards
The ring is made of brass CW617N or DZR (dezincification resistant) in accordance with PN EN 12165. DZR brass is characterized by high resistance to corrosion and oxidation, which translates into a longer connection life. Conex fittings are compatible with all types of copper pipes meeting the requirements of PN EN 1057 and stainless steel pipes according to PN EN 10312. Additionally, they have a PZH hygiene certificate, which confirms their safety for health and the environment. Compliance with PN-EN 10226-1 (ISO 7-1) ensures compatibility of external and internal threads.
