The 15 mm Cap from the B Press series is an essential component for the permanent and leak-tight sealing of pipe ends in water, heating, and gas installations. Made from copper with a purity level of 99.99% (grade Cu-DHP), it ensures full compatibility with copper pipes, eliminating the risk of galvanic corrosion at the joint. Thanks to the press-fit technology, installation is quick and requires no open flame, which is crucial when working in areas with elevated fire risk or in already finished buildings.

Construction and Materials Ensuring Durability

The product features a robust construction based on raw copper, which requires no additional surface treatment or anti-corrosive coatings – the material is resistant to water and the media transported within the installation. Inside the body, there is a seal made of ethylene-propylene-diene monomer rubber (EPDM). This type of rubber is characterized by high resistance to aging, temperature, and exposure to various chemicals, resulting in a long service life of the joint even under demanding operating conditions.

A key structural element is the V-profile, which defines the geometry of the pressing area. This shape allows for precise and repeatable compression of the sleeve by the pressing head, creating a mechanical joint with high strength. It is worth noting that the cap does not include a drain valve or air vent – its function is limited to permanently sealing the end of the pipe.

Application and Operating Conditions

This component is suitable for pressure installations where the maximum working pressure does not exceed 16 bar at a temperature of 20°C. This is a standard value for most water supply and heating systems in residential and public buildings. The external pipe diameter compatible with this cap is exactly 15 mm, corresponding to the most common dimensions of copper pipes used in internal connections.

For installers, it is also important that the product requires no additional accessories for installation other than the appropriate pressing head compatible with the V-profile. The lack of need for assembly pastes or special sealing compounds accelerates the team's work and reduces labor costs.

It should be remembered that this cap is intended exclusively for copper pipes and should not be used in multi-layer pipe systems (e.g., PE-X/Al/PE) without the manufacturer's appropriate transition sleeves.
