Gas installation transition nipple

This brass transition nipple with a gas external thread is used to connect pipes of different diameters in gas installations. It is part of the B Press Gas system, designed for crimping, which ensures quick and reliable installation. Made of high-quality brass, it guarantees durability and corrosion resistance.

Design and application

The nipple connects a clamping sleeve (diameter 42 mm) with a tapered BSPT-R external thread with a diameter of 1 1/4 inch. This allows connecting a crimped pipe with an element with a thread, e.g., a valve or other fitting. It is ideal for natural gas, LPG, and compressed air installations. The use of bronze CuSn5Zn5Pb2-C (CC499K-DW) according to PN EN 1982 ensures high corrosion resistance, and the applied elastomer HNBR (with PI system) guarantees a tight connection.

For crimping diameters from 15 to 54 mm, it is recommended to use jaws with profile B (e.g., Rems profile V). The product is available in gold (bronze) color. Remember to tighten threaded connections correctly according to PN - EN ISO 228-1 to ensure tightness.
