Transition fitting for gas installations – an indispensable element of the B Press Gas system

This transition fitting, made of high-quality bronze, is used to connect pipes of different diameters and connection types in gas installations. It is part of the B Press Gas system, which is characterized by durability and safety. The adapter allows connecting a pipe with an outer diameter of 22 mm to a cylindrical BSPP-G internal gas thread with a diameter of 1 inch (25 mm).

Design and application

The fitting is designed for crimping, which ensures quick and secure installation without the need for welding. Made of bronze CuSn5Zn5Pb2-C (CC499K-DW) according to PN EN 1982, it guarantees corrosion resistance and long-lasting tightness. Additionally, the HNBR elastomer (yellow o-ring) with the PI (Press Indicator) system indicates whether the connection has been properly crimped. This is important for installers – visual crimping control minimizes the risk of leaks.

The fitting can be used in installations of natural gas, LPG and compressed air. It is compatible with copper pipes manufactured in accordance with PN EN 1057. For its installation, jaws with profile B (e.g. Rems profile V) are required for diameters from 15 to 54 mm.
