This polypropylene cartridge, manufactured by Formaster under the Dafi brand, is a reliable solution for pre-filtering water in domestic and industrial installations. Its function is to remove mechanical impurities such as sand, rust, sediment and other solid particles that can negatively affect water quality and the lifespan of appliances.

This cartridge is particularly recommended for older water supply systems where the risk of contamination is higher. Thanks to its construction, it effectively protects valves, pumps and other system components from damage.

How it works and why choose it?

The polypropylene cartridge works on the principle of mechanical filtration – it stops suspended particles on its surface. The more impurities are retained, the more effective the filtration becomes, although at the same time the water flow rate decreases. Therefore, regular replacement of the cartridge is crucial for maintaining optimal performance.

It is important to install the cartridge in the direction of water flow – it is recommended to place it at the end of the filter series (in accordance with the warranty conditions). For best results, consider using two cartridges: one at the beginning and one at the end of the filtration system.
