Features and application

The RA-N valve is versatile – it works with all RA 2000 series thermostatic heads and TWA-A thermal actuators. Its construction, based on solid materials and precise workmanship, guarantees long-lasting and trouble-free operation. Thanks to the pre-setting option, the valve allows for optimal adaptation to the specifics of the installation and user preferences. Application in two-pipe heating systems ensures even heat distribution throughout the building. Additionally, the dust cover protects the mechanism from dirt, which translates to its reliability.

Performance and operating parameters

The RA-N valve offers a wide flow range – from 13 to 285 l/h at a pressure of 10 kPa and from 15 to 349 l/h at 15 kPa. The Kv value in the range of 0.04 - 0.51 (and additionally 0.73 and 0.9) allows for precise control of the flow of hot water in the radiator. Using a valve with characteristic C allows it to react more slowly to short current surges, therefore it tolerates starting devices with a motor well. The adjustable pre-stroke setting provides flexibility in adapting to different installation operating conditions. The valve has an internal thread with a size of 1/2 inch (15) which facilitates installation and integration with existing heating systems.
