The MCR4 24 condensing gas boiler set with the AQUAvie 125L DHW heater is a complete heating installation designed for modern residential and commercial buildings. The system combines a high-efficiency condensing boiler with a nominal capacity of 24 kW with a domestic hot water storage tank made of DUPLEX type 2304 stainless steel, guaranteeing optimal conditions for both space heating and DHW preparation.

Heat exchanger and hydraulic module construction

The heart of the system is a stainless steel toroidal heat exchanger, covered by a 5-year warranty, which ensures exceptional durability and corrosion resistance. The 125-liter AQUAvie DHW heater is made of the highest quality stainless steel, resulting in a 50% weight reduction compared to traditional enameled tanks while maintaining high strength parameters.

The hydraulic module includes a brass body and an A-class modulated pump with an energy efficiency coefficient of EEI<0,23, significantly lowering the installation's operating costs. The system is equipped with an 8-liter expansion vessel mounted in the support frame and a CO safety valve with a pressure of 3 bar.

E-Pilot control system and fuel adaptation

The E-Pilot control console offers weather compensation and an intuitive user interface, adapted to work with the Smart TC modulating thermostat, which enables Wi-Fi connectivity. Thanks to a free mobile application for Android and iOS, the user can remotely control the installation and receive notifications about any faults.

The Gas Adaptive System automatically controls the combustion process and adjusts the boiler's operation depending on the gas category (E, Lw, Ls, or propane/butane). The boiler is adapted for burning natural gas with a 20% hydrogen blend, making it ready for future energy trends.

Heating system performance characteristics

The system achieves an impressive useful efficiency of 105.8% at full load (according to the Hi standard for a return temp. of 30°C), placing it in the class of the most efficient heating devices available on the market. The seasonal space heating energy efficiency is 94%, and standby heat losses have been limited to a minimum of 0.04 kW.

The boiler power modulation ranges from 10 to 100% (3.3-26 kW for 50/30°C temp.), allowing for precise adjustment of capacity to the building's current heat demand. Nitrogen oxide emissions have been limited to a level below 14 mg/kWh, meeting the most stringent ecological standards.

The boiler offers wide possibilities for connection to various flue gas discharge systems - from air/flue gas ducts (homologations C10, C13, and C33), through chimney connection (B23p and C93), to advanced distribution systems (C53) or collective flue gas discharge (C43P). The air/gas module ensures operation even with C43p pressurized flue gas discharge systems.

Standard delivery includes a Ø60/100 mm air/flue gas connector and a DHW sensor, while the SCB-17B board is available as optional equipment, allowing for the management of an additional heating circuit built directly into the boiler.
