Comprehensive tool storage solution – DeWalt ToughSystem 2.0

This set combines durability, functionality and convenience, designed for both professionals and demanding home users. The set consists of three boxes – DS165, DS300 and DS450 on wheels – which provide optimal conditions for storing and transporting tools and accessories. The construction based on the ToughSystem 2.0 system guarantees high resistance to mechanical damage and adverse weather conditions.

Construction and functionality

The set stands out with a number of improved solutions that enhance user comfort. New metal front latches make it easier to open the boxes even with gloves on, and automatic side latches allow for quick and secure connection of modules in a stack. Reinforced metal eyelets for a padlock provide additional security for stored tools. The boxes are characterized by high tightness (IP65), which protects the contents from dust and moisture – useful especially on construction sites or in the workshop. Additionally, the internal mounting point allows for installation of the DEWALT Tracker module (available separately) and tracking the position of the boxes using the DEWALT Tool Connect application.

Mobility and ergonomics

The DS450 box is equipped with durable 8-inch wheels and an extendable handle, which greatly facilitates the transport of even heavy equipment. Wider and stronger handles improve the ergonomics of carrying individual boxes, and the ability to mount half-width modules increases the flexibility of the system configuration. The new extendable handle makes it easier to store the set and transport it in the cargo space of vehicles. Identification inserts allow for easy labeling of the contents of individual boxes, which speeds up access to the necessary tools.
