This is a Type 1 device, which means it is suitable for installation as the first line of defense in a surge protection system (LPS). Its compact size – only 2 module widths – allows installation even in tight switchgear cabinets. This arrester effectively protects sensitive electrical equipment from damage caused by sudden voltage spikes.
