Functionality and application

This circuit breaker, with B characteristic, is ideal for circuits with devices with moderate inrush current. The B characteristic means that the circuit breaker reacts quickly to overloads, but is more tolerant to short-term current surges, which is important when connecting devices with motors or other elements generating high inrush current. The use of a two-pole (2P) design and a single-pole neutral (1N) provides full protection for both the phase and the neutral conductor. A rated current of 20A allows protection of most standard circuits in residential and commercial buildings.

Ease of use and installation

The Eaton xPole Home circuit breaker is characterized by easy mounting on a DIN TH 35 rail. It has double terminals – lift and rail – which facilitates the connection of wires with a cross-section from 1 to 25 mm². Importantly, the manufacturer recommends testing the circuit breaker's operation every 6 months using the "T" test button, which ensures its reliability and readiness for operation when needed.
