The Eaton HNB-C10/1N/003-A combined switch is an advanced solution combining the functions of an overcurrent and residual current circuit breaker in one housing. It provides comprehensive protection of the electrical installation against the effects of short circuits, overloads and electric shock. The device is particularly recommended for domestic use (xPole Home series), but will also work in other installations requiring a high level of safety.

Functionality and technical parameters

The circuit breaker is characterized by a rated current of 10A, a residual current sensitivity of A (30mA) and a short-circuit breaking capacity of 6kA. Characteristic C provides a quick response to overloads, while allowing for trouble-free starting of devices with motors that generate high inrush currents. The two-pole design (2P) combined with the possibility of disconnecting the N pole increases functionality and flexibility of use. The rated insulation voltage Ui is 500V, and the impulse voltage 4kV, which guarantees safe operation in various conditions.

Installation and additional features

The installation of the circuit breaker is simple and intuitive - it takes place on a standard DIN TH 35 rail. Double screw/busbar terminals facilitate the connection of wires with a cross-section from 1 to 25 mm². The device has a contact position indicator (red/green) which allows for quick visual control of the device status. In addition, the circuit breaker requires testing every 6 months - which is clearly marked by the test button "T". The IP20 degree of protection provides protection against touching fingers and solid objects larger than 12mm.
