This Eaton xPole Home HNB-C16/1N/003-A combined circuit breaker is a reliable solution for ensuring safety in electrical installations. It combines the functions of a circuit breaker and a residual current device (RCD), offering comprehensive protection against the effects of short circuits, overloads and electric shock. The device is designed to protect circuits with a rated current of 16A, with a residual current sensitivity of 0.03A (type A). The rated short-circuit breaking capacity is 6kA, which guarantees effective disconnection of the circuit in the event of a failure.

Functionality and application

This circuit breaker is used in home installations, public buildings and anywhere where effective protection against electrical hazards is required. Characteristic C provides delayed tripping with short-term overloads, which is particularly important when starting devices with electric motors or other loads with high inrush current. At the same time, it provides a quick response in the event of short circuits and long-term overloads. This minimizes the risk of unnecessary tripping of the circuit during normal operation of devices.

User comfort and installation

The Eaton xPole Home circuit breaker is characterized by easy mounting on a TH 35 DIN rail. It has dual terminals (lift and busbar), which facilitates the connection of wires with a cross-section from 1 to 25 mm². The contact position indicator (red/green) allows for quick visual control of the device status. In addition, the circuit breaker requires testing every 6 months using the “T” test button, which ensures its correct operation when needed. Compliance with standards (including energy limitation class 3 and protection degree IP20) guarantees safety and reliable operation. Remember to regularly check the condition of the device – the manufacturer recommends testing every six months.
