Connection of control wires to NZM circuit breakers – reliability and flexibility

This accessory, dedicated to the Eaton NZM series of circuit breakers, enables solid and safe connection of control wires using screw connections. Designed for mounting in NZM3 and NZM4 circuit breakers, it is a key element in ensuring the correct operation of control systems. Thanks to this solution, installers gain confidence in a stable connection, and end-users – trouble-free operation of devices.

Design and application

The NZM3/4-XSTS screw connection is an element mounted inside the circuit breaker housing, used to connect control wires. It provides a reliable electrical connection, resistant to vibrations and temperature changes. The design is adapted to accept two terminals – top and bottom – which increases installation flexibility for 3- and 4-pole circuit breakers. Equipped with tunnel terminals, it facilitates cable organization inside the switchgear. It is worth remembering that the NZM-XSTK model is not compatible with IP2X protection (NZM3(-4)-XIPK or NZM4(-4)-XIPK). The height of the control connections is 2mm.
