Quick mounting and high resistance to external conditions
One of the key features of this contactor is the innovative Push-in connection technology. This allows for significantly faster mounting – up to 50% faster compared to traditional screw terminals. This translates to time and cost savings during installation. Additionally, Push-in terminals are characterized by high resistance to vibration and shock, ensuring a stable connection even in harsh working conditions. Constant spring pressure minimizes the risk of loosening connections and increased resistance. Compatibility with accessories used with screw terminals is an additional advantage.
Technical parameters and application
This contactor is designed to operate at 24 V DC, making it an ideal choice for control systems powered by direct current. The rated operating current for AC-4 at 400 V is 10 A, and the rated operating power for AC-3 at 400 V is 7.5 kW. This allows the contactor to handle medium-power loads perfectly. It has one normally open auxiliary contact (1NO) and one normally closed auxiliary contact (1NC), which allows for expanding the functionality of the control system. The rated operating current Ie for AC-3 at 400 V is 18 A, and for AC-1 – as much as 45 A. A wide range of operating voltages (24…690 V AC 50/60 Hz) ensures versatility of application.
DILM contactors are widely used not only in motor control, but also in resistive loads (e.g. heaters) and lighting. The ability to use them to disconnect local networks and provide galvanic isolation of system parts makes them a versatile element of electrical installations. Thanks to the built-in damping circuit (in the case of DC contactors), protection against electromagnetic interference is ensured.
