This 5.5kW, 3-phase Eaton DC1-34014FB-A20CE1 drive with RFI filter and built-in braking module is an advanced solution for controlling electric motors. Flexibility and communication capabilities
This drive stands out for its versatility thanks to support for multiple communication protocols, including Modbus and CAN. Additionally, the ability to communicate on the SmartWire SWD network (using DX-NET-SWD3) and connect external control panels (up to two panels per drive, a maximum of two panels per group of 63 devices) increases its flexibility and adaptation to various automation systems. Communication via Bluetooth is possible using DX-COM-STICK. The integrated interface allows connection to a PC, making configuration and monitoring easier.
Advanced features and durability
The DC1+ series is an improvement on the proven DC1 series, offering sensorless vector control and support for modern PM, BLDC and SyncREL motors. The electronic boards have been painted to increase resistance to harsh environmental conditions – dust and moisture. The built-in "Fire Mode" is dedicated to fire fan applications. Extended monitoring allows measurement of the motor's active power – particularly useful in pump applications. The drive can operate at an ambient temperature of up to 50°C without power limitation, allowing installation in smaller enclosures and reducing the cost of additional ventilation. The built-in braking module (chopper) ensures effective motor stopping and energy recovery. The rated output current is 14A with a maximum output power of 5.5 kW for both linear and square loads. The supply voltage can range from 380 to 480 V with a network voltage tolerance of +/- 10% and a frequency of +/- 10%. Protection class IP20 provides protection against contact.
