Expanding the functionality of easyE4 systems

The easyE4-DC-8TE1 expansion module is an input/output module that increases the capabilities of the easyE4 series controllers. It allows you to add four inputs and four transistor outputs to the system, enabling control of various devices and processes. Compact dimensions (36 x 90 x 58 mm) allow for easy integration with existing installations, and the ability to mount on a DIN rail ensures convenient installation and servicing.

Flexibility and communication

The module is powered by a DC voltage in the range of 20.4 – 28.8V and offers a wide range of communication options, including TCP/IP and Modbus protocol support. This makes it easy to integrate with other automation and monitoring systems. Importantly, the expansion is compatible with popular easy500, 700 and 800 controllers, providing a high degree of freedom in system configuration. Additionally, the module has two "other" hardware connectors that can be used for specific applications.

Safety and certificates

The easyE4-DC-8TE1 expansion module has UL certificates for explosion-proof zones class I, category 2 and groups A, C and D, confirming its safety and reliability in demanding industrial environments. The IP20 protection class provides protection against accidental contact and ingress of solid objects. It is also worth mentioning the unique function – support for the ST (Structured Text) programming language, which distinguishes this module from the competition.
